The members of the Abendschone Chapter NSDAR met at the Equity Bank in Eureka Springs Thursday, May 9, 2019.

The featured speaker was retired Air Force Major Gary Norris. He gave the background information regarding the June 6, 1944 D-Day invasion on the beaches of Normandy, D-Day: Operation Overlord.

The success of this massive effort of the WWII Allies helped deliver the soon-to-be defeat of Nazi-Germany in Western Europe.
