Abendschone Chapter NSDAR participated in the Elks Holiday Island Lodge’s 241st anniversary of Flag Day. Also participating were American Legion 36, Boy Scouts 67, Opera of the Ozarks, and a message from Pastor Bob Herring. Refreshments were also enjoyed!

About once a year the Abendschone Chapter NSDAR makes a donation to the veterans in Fayetteville to make their stay in the hospital or in outpatient treatments more comfortable.
Abendschone Chapter NSDAR presented their annual DAR Good Citizens awards to local high school seniors on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Cornerstone Bank in Berryville.

Constitution Week is celebrated for one week, September 17-23. Constitution displays are placed in the two Carroll County libraries – Eureka Springs Carnegie Library, and the Berryville Public Library. The current mayor of Eureka Springs signs two proclamations proclaiming the week to be Constitution Week. Local radio stations help with the celebration with announcements. Continue reading
