Good Citizens Awards 2020

The annual DAR Good Citizens Awards ceremony, given by the local Abendschone Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), was held at the Cornerstone Bank in Eureka Springs on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Seniors from three local schools were given certificates, pins, and scholarship monies during the ceremony by Dana Sue Busch, DAR Good Citizens chairperson.

The student selected as the school’s DAR Good Citizen must have the following qualities: Dependability (truthfulness, honesty, punctuality, etc.), Service (cooperation, helpfulness, responsibility, etc.), Leadership (personality, self-control, initiative, etc.), Patriotism (unselfish loyalty to American ideals).
